The ministry said in a statement: "On January 28, 2026, Iran caused a diplomatic incident by forcing a Dutch diplomat to hand over his diplomatic luggage at Tehran airport, which is unacceptable." The ministry added that it had repeatedly requested Iran to immediately release the seized luggage without providing further details.
