In a recent statement, Ферстаппен mentioned feeling exhausted from having to deal with situations that he considers absurd in the sports arena. The Dutch driver referred to a sanction imposed by the FIA after using a profanity during a press conference, which forced him to perform "community service". This situation, along with other minor conflicts, has led Ферстаппен to consider his future in Formula 1.
Although he leads the drivers' championship with 331 points, closely followed by Ландон Норрис with 279 points, Ферстаппен has expressed his dissatisfaction with the international motorsport federation.
