Maximilian Ibrahimović, the eldest son of former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimović, has joined Ajax, the record holder for the most Dutch league titles, on loan from AC Milan, the club announced yesterday. Ajax stated in a statement that the 19-year-old striker Maximilian has moved on loan for six months. Maximilian plays for AC Milan's reserve team, where his father played for the senior team. The club's director of football, Marc Overmars, said: 'Initially, Maximilian will get most of his playing minutes with Ajax Under 23, and he will regularly move between the Under 23 team and the first team during the season to get used to the higher level and the pace of play at Ajax'.
